Katy Starr arrives

Katy was wading through the snow, trailing her parents who were leaning on each other and stumbling their way home about ten feet ahead. She sighed and shoved her hands deeper into the plush pockets of her white parka, shivering slightly against the chilly London air. Suddenly, a glow just around the corner of the next building caught her eye.

"I wonder how long it would take them to notice if I slipped away," she thought dejectedly.

Casting her gaze warily over to the giggling couple, she started to drift that way. Entering the glow, she found herself on an unfamiliar path. Before she knew it, the path opened up into a town that she had never laid eyes on before.

Odie was strolling around Main Street, not knowing what to do. He had only gotten here yesterday, how could he already have nothing to do?? Then, he happened to glance over to the path, only to find yet another outline of a person. The person seemed to blend in really well with the path. Odie figured she was dressed in white. He walked up to the person after they got off the glowing path. "Hey, don't be afraid. We are friends, and we need you to not tell anyone about this town." Odie said, trying to imitate Mitchel when Odie had entered Ghost Town. "C'mon, let's go find Mitchel Kolamahar." Odie said, lightening up his voice. He thought the girl was very pretty, and maybe she would except him, since Jayden didn't except him...

Mitchel was sitting outside the library looking at the meaningless words of a book that he had found on a shelf. He yelled at himself in his head for not learning how to read. He was really bored and his head perked up when he heard his name. He saw Odie and another person. He looked closer and saw that the person was no ordanary person, it was a girl, a very butiful looking girl. She had long blonde curls that reached below her shoulders, and she wore a formal looking white parka with fluffy trim and a blinding white stocking cap. Mitchel sat staring at the girl untill he noticed that his jaw had dropped. He closed his mouth and stood up, slowly walking over to them, trying to hide his limp.

Odie saw Mitchel coming over to them in a really wierd strut. "Uhh, that is Mitchel, but don't worry. He doesn't usually walk like that..." Odie could tell that Mitchel really seemed to like this girl, so he was trying to hint to him that he was walking wierdly. "Quick! I need your name!" Odie whispered to the person, but Mitchel was already standing there. "Mitchel, this is the new person, new person, this is Mitchel." Odie said, his cheeks turning red when he called her a "new person."

Mitchel, halfway towards them, noticed Odie's hints and started limping again. The tips of his ears turned red. He felt so stupid. Then he heared that Odie hadn't even asked the name of the girl, calling her 'new girl'. Mitchel looked at Odie, who's face had started turning red, then looked back at the girl. From up close, she only looked a little younger than him. He stuck out his hand for her to shake. "Well, uhh, 'new person', like Odie said, I'm Mitchel Kolamahar, How bout you?"
